May 2022

Late May finds us with only a few Birdies left enduring the “preheat” to summer. They tell me they are wilting though so it will be just us “Rats” here in the near future.

SAVE the DATE AUGUST 3: Last Woman Standing has been moved from its usual July date to AUG. 3. This will coincide with the Men’s Dry Heat Tournament

AUG 1-2 so that couples wanting to play in both can plan on being here in town at the same time. Hopefully we will see more participation with this change.

For those of you that are new, Last Woman Standing is a one-day 36 hole individual eclectic tournament. We play the course twice without stopping. You have a chance to improve your first round scores on each hole the second time through. Then we go straight to Sue Sweet’s house for a delicious lunch, drinks, and prizes. It is always a hoot! Try not to miss it.

SUMMER GOLF: We have been trying unsuccessfully to move our club golf to Tuesdays in order to get some earlier tee times with the increasing heat. Please bear with us…we are not giving up!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day and safe travels home.
